Domiciliary Care Worker – London
Location
Community-based across London (Visiting clients in their own homes).
Job Type
Flexible shifts available (Full-time, part-time, and weekend roles).
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate individuals to support our service users in living safely and independently at home. You will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care, assisting with medication, and helping with domestic tasks like meal preparation and light housekeeping. Most importantly, you will be a friendly face and a source of vital social contact for those who live alone.
About You
You are a warm, patient, and reliable individual with a genuine heart for helping others. You understand the challenges faced by the elderly or disabled and are committed to treating every person with dignity and respect. You are highly organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in a community-based environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate, legible records and use our mobile monitoring system.
- A commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Willingness to complete NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (if not already held).
- Subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Manual Handling (Training provided).
